Chunghontap Monument

It is a monument that commemorates soldiers and policemen from Sokcho who died in the Korean War. On the front of the monument, bronze statues depicting the fight of soldiers are attached on the right and left sides, while at the back, you can find a list of epitaphs for the fallen soldiers. Here is part of writings on the epitaph, which reminds us how important our nation is; When a stranger asks you, answer this; We have protected our free nation of Korea according to our call of duty; And we rest in here as a flower bud.
